This screenplay could well have been taken on by Quentin Tarantino or Guy Ritchie
Great story filmed on "zero" budget, yet keeping you so hooked by multiple plots, and so fast paced that I had no time to use the toilet at the cinema (which I usually do).I remember seeing the first feature by Abelard Giza "Wozonko" (Wannaride), I found it average, to say the least. Seeing how young writer/director progresses in "Towar", I wonder where his next movie is going to end up...? Academy Awards nominee? "Towar" (Stock) so far has been awarded at "Oskariada 2005" in Poland as second runner up for the best feature. The screenplay was also nominated to next year's edition of the festival by Jan Machulski himself.
